Who am I?

I am the laughter when you are down
I am the smile that replaces your frown


I am the wisdom when you need advice
I am the strength when you need to fight


I am the pool where you drown your sorrows
I am the hope that makes you believe in tomorrow


I am the the one who wants your dreams to come true
I am the one that believes in all that you do


I am the understanding when you make mistakes
I am the love that replaces all hate


I am whomever you need me to be
your needs are all that can set my soul free

I am a no one, a nothing, I'm merely a shell
I live, and survive in my personal hell


yet when I am needed, I become and I am
I love, and I cherish and do all that I can




For a friend

Alone we're only human
just simple flesh and blood.
But together we can do anything
we can rise above the floods.


Together we become guardian angels
watching each other from afar.
Together we can beat these odds
and soar among the stars.


Please don't ever feel alone,
because I'm always at your side.
Don't huddle in the darkness,
don't run away and hide.


Together we will beat this,
us two angels in the night.
Together we'll find happiness
and turn towards the light.




Please don't...

Please do not make me look you in the eye,
don't calm my fears, don't watch me cry.


Please do not hug me and say "It's okay..."
and that you'll be here for me, that you'll always stay.


Please do not worry if I'll be alright,
don't let my problems haunt your dreams at night.


Please do not let me drown you in my pain,
don't give me the chance to hurt you again.

And please do not love me, whatever you do...
I do not deserve it, I don't deserve you.
